Beaufort's Vi Et Armis is an Aromatic Spicy fragrance for both men and women, encapsulating the historical cargoes of British ships. This scent is paradoxical, challenging, yet beguiling, crafted to recall the words of George Bernard Shaw: Emotional excitement reaches men and women through Tea, Tobacco, Opium, Whisky and religion. Its top notes of Tea Leaf, Black Pepper, and Cardamom introduce an initial spice. The heart of the fragrance unfolds with Whiskey, Incense, and Opium, adding a smoky depth, while the base notes of Birch, Tobacco, and Agarwood (Oud) round out this heady, narcotic scent. This fragrance was renamed and repackaged in 2016, previously known as East India.
