Very interesting
It was not until after watching way too many youtube videos on fragrances that I finally found the first tester for Tom Ford stuff. I had imagined, based on the videos and reviews and things on fragrantica what the 'higher end' stuff might smell like. It didn't turn out to smell like I had imagined. Fast forward a while and I blind bought this. This smells as I imagined those higher end fragrances to smell like. Something quite different than I had smelled before, but immediately gave me the idea of a cool night at a fancy, very atmospheric, fire-lit, stone floor, log chair near a river type thing. Or, being invited to a fancy dinner I could never afford and trying to blend in with my mismatching final clearance wardrobe. Either way, I enjoy it, but could not see myself wearing it for anything other than rare occasions.
I like it but…
It was a bit of a let down. Nice scent profile, but the notes just don’t seem to pop off your skin, quite dull. No projection, but decent longevity. For $20 it’s not bad… but I’m not crazy about it. Could have lived without it.
